However, with the increase of gas-field exploitation and development degree, there is a common problem, that is, gas well water (liquid production). When the produced water or condensed liquid cannot be carried out of the wellbore by natural gas flow and remains in the well, "fluid accumulation in gas well" is formed. The difficulty of gas well exploitation lies in the drainage and gas recovery technology aiming at the whole life cycle of gas well.


The accumulation of bottom hole liquid load will form a liquid column, which will cause additional static pressure on the gas reservoir, resulting in a continuous decrease in gas well self-injection energy, and the gas recovery rate and primary recovery will be reduced seriously. According to the statistics, the ultimate recovery rate of pure gas reservoirs developed by depletion mode is as high as 90%. However, most natural gas reservoirs in practice have water. Once the gas well produces water, the gas recovery rate and primary recovery rate will be greatly reduced, and the average recovery rate is only 40%~60%. Serious fluid accumulation will lead to flooded well or even dead well.

Long-term increase production mechanism

It can reduce gas phase water saturation and bottom hole back pressure, effectively promote the resolution of liquid or gaseous water in the pore of near-wellbore reservoir, and promote the transfer of free gas and adsorbed gas to the wellbore.However, the production mode of continuous emission and extraction reduces the formation water saturation while improving the near-wellbore reservoir permeability and gas-phase relative permeability, so as to improve the productivity and achieve long-term production.
